The definition of integrity is Terrible!

When I served with the marines, integrity was the cornerstone of the relationship. We had to know that we had each other's back, not only on the battlefield but also in day-to-day life, to help with problems or jump into a problem together. So if you have were ever called an INTEGRITY VIOLATER and it was not said as a joke, that was the end of you.

Being called an integrity violator in the military is equivalent to being called a pedophile or a rapist in civilian life. No one trusts you, and you are given all the terrible duties and took all responsibilities away.

In therapy, I will assist clients in exploring core values and what they mean, and how to discover them for themselves. Integrity is one that most people pick right off the bat. It's quick and easy, and it sounds like a good solid choice.

It might be because the idea of having integral behavior is honorable and defines a good, upstanding individual.

But, it's the definition; I can't stand it!

Integrity- to do the right thing when no one is around or looking.

It's to cliche; usually, I can brush aside the cliche aspect because they can be some solid points to be made behind cliche statements. Not this one. Heres why…
