Don’t just help,

Touch their soul.

These times, we’ll have a vacancy of people who put forth the effort to change the world for those around them during any period.

I’m not talking about being those celebrity types that are flashing their latest contribution to a charity or the ones that do good deeds only to have it blasted all over social media.

Helping an old lady cross the street, offering a homeless person a meal paying it forward in the drive-thru line at Starbucks are all great acts of kindness.

But the world needs more. One of the sayings I have with my daughter goes like this:

Me: what’s the best thing to do?

Daughter: inspire other people.

These words, being carefully thought out. The world has plenty of helpers, but not many inspirational people? I don’t mean the cliche ones either. I mean the ones that do a deed simply for the sake of doing it. The act is left behind with no recognition of who did it!

Do those actions mentioned above and more. Talk to those people, and get to know them. Have deeply personal conversations. Find out what makes them think, what values do they hold?

Drop your tongue from the roof of your mouth. Let your shoulders fall. Deep exhale.
