A real man...
is born to serve
It does not matter what the latest fade or social media trend says about how men should be shallow or weak. The times are all but turbulent with social and governmental influence.
At a minimum, a man is meant to be a protector and provider. He is also meant to be emotionally mature, aware, self-sufficient, and financially stable.
Though these are true, they look different given the times and social constructs.
When society is loud and boisterous, it is only a desire to match and suppress the outrage and injustices. Still, one must be reserved and strategic with outward verbal and physical expression.
Exercising restraint in an environment that allows and encourages the outward expression of our most basic primitive behavior and instincts is a sign of an evolved man and one of primitive restraint.
Now, that does not mean there is never a time to act or react to our society's injustices; there is that time.
But, we must be more than our restraint of instinctual protection.
We protect the ones we love and provide for, given injustices. We protect because we care; we care because we see the value in the young and influential minds to whom we provide.
